We are celebrating 150 years of clean Municipal drinking water in Hamilton. The story of our City's vital water systems has many underlying narratives. This exhibition takes you on a journey through the establishment of a municipal waterworks, the financial struggle individual families faced to secure access to clean water; the emergence of new technologies based on reliable water and our community's improvements in public health; as told through photographs, artifacts and personal accounts.
